G2 Athletics offers speed, agility, strength, and sport specific training for the student athlete. It does not matter what type of sport you are involved in, you can always be stronger, faster, and more agile. It has been proven, the more in shape you are physically, the less likely you will be injured. The more you develop your sport specific skills, the more likely you will raise your game to the next level.
To be able to compete at a high level, you need to train your body year round for your specific sport. Off season training is key. After a few weeks, your body will start to lose the gains you made during your competitive season. After 3 weeks, 22% of what you gained is now lost. College coaches are looking for recruits that are multiple sport athletes and those who have a training program throughout the year. This shows that the student athlete is dedicated, able to handle hard work, and their academic responsibilities. Coaches look for these traits in athletes as it shows they could handle their universities rigorous training and educational standards.
It's this simple: If you plan is to compete in college or the pros, then you need to be training now like those athletes train. That is year around training with an off-season, pre-season, and in-season programs. Each season has specific goals to achieve. In high school, the majority of schools do not train like this, nor do they train sport specific training like college and professional teams do. If you want to excel, then you need to train correctly.
